Pelion Resort is a brand new 4-star hotel, built at 700m altitude in location Karavos on the north-east side of the traditional Portaria village. The hotel is built like a «village» according to the traditional local architecture of Pelion mountain area. Due to its privileged position, it allows easy walking access to the village’s center and access to the port of Volos, in only 13 km. Two main buildings accommodate the reception area and lobby, the snack bar, restaurant and the large living - room with fireplace. At the ground floor of the reception building, a spa facility is in operation. During summer, café, bar and restaurant operate in the yard and garden of the hotel, by the swimming pool. Little guests can be entertained at the playground. Free private parking is also provided.

Pelion Resort houses 36 spacious carefully decorated in earth tones rooms. 29 double and triple rooms and 7 apartments. All rooms have balcony, bathtube / shower, safe, minibar, hairdryer, telephone, LCD TV with satellite channels and usb input. Free wi-fi acces is offered in all whole property. Some of the rooms also have fireplace and Jacuzzi or hydro massage shower. Rooms for disabled people are also available. The rooms are connected to the main buildings via paved paths through the garden.
